This creamy cocktail is one of my holiday favorites. I always have a little heavy cream leftover when I bake, and this is the perfect way to use it up.
This cocktail is a dreamy combination of heavy cream, amaretto, vodka and Bailey's Almande with a dusting of nutmeg.
What could be more apropos for the holidays?
If you can't find the Bailey's, you can just add more amaretto, but do try. It really ramps up the almond flavor so nicely. (It's also a very nice sipper on its own!)
I love the white chocolate rim on the glass. White sprinkles are more whimsical, and I prefer using them, but you can use sanding sugar for a more elegant, upscale presentation.

White Christmas Martini Cocktail
Makes 1 cocktail.
White chocolate melting wafers or a white chocolate bar, optional, for rim
White sprinkles or sanding sugar, optional, for rim
1.5 ounces amaretto
1.5 ounces heavy cream
1 ounce vodka
1 ounce Bailey's Almande Almondmilk Liqueur
Grated nutmeg, optional
Optional for the rim of the glass:
Melt the chocolate and pour a puddle onto a small plate.
Pour some sprinkles or sanding sugar onto another small plate.
Dip the rim of a Martini or coupe glass (I love these stemless Martini glasses) into the melted chocolate, then roll in the sprinkles.
Set the glass upside down on the plate with the sprinkles in the refrigerator to set so the chocolate doesn't drip down the sides of the glass.
To make the cocktail:
Add the amaretto, cream, vodka and Bailey's to a shaker filled with ice. Shake until chilled, at least 30 seconds. Strain into a glass with ice, then grate a bit of nutmeg over the top.
Cheers!
Always drink responsibly and never drink and drive.
